Safari Drive organizes private, tailor-made, self drive safaris throughout Africa. This unique style of safari allows for a level of adventure that is simply not catered for by traditional companies. We give you the chance to go off and explore the wilds of Africa whilst maintaining a high level of security and back-up on the ground. There are few experiences to match the thrill of waking up in your own private camp, with not a soul for miles around you, in some of the most sensational locations in the world.

How it all began.

Increasingly frustrated by the constraints that modern tourism imposes, Safari Drive pioneered self drive safaris in 1993. Safari Drive started organizing self drive trips from Victoria Falls. The demand for this fresh approach to African travel meant that we were soon expanding the portfolio of countries in which we operate. We now organize Safari Drive journeys in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and, most recently, Oman.
